When We Are Closed

NHS 24 (contracted by NHS Lanarkshire) provide cover from 6pm to 8am Monday to Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday and statutory public holidays. The telephone number is 111.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before contacting and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the Practice re-opens.

When to go to Accident and Emergency (A&E)

  • Involved in a road traffic accident
  • If you are elderly/frail and have had a fall
  • Symptoms of a stroke (call 999)
  • Any head injury
  • Chest pain (call 999)
  • Collapse/loss of consciousness
  • Seizures
  • Suicidal/severe distress
  • Overdose of any medication
  • Assault
  • Potential broken bone
